Having posted twice previously announcing the new revision to Servusamanu, I would like to, finally, announce with as much as fanfare and bombast as possible, the new design for Servusamanu.
For the (few) readers of the old site, the old archives can still be found on the main navigation bar. The old site remains existent, but I don’t intend to do any more updates there.
Instead, with luck, this new revision will bring more and better articles. The old site was a hodgepodge of articles gleaned from the news and whatever else caught my eye. It was interesting for me and hopefully a little bit for my readers as well, but I feel it suffered greatly from a lack of focus.
My tastes and interests still run the gambit from computer games to medieval epics, but with this new revision my hope is to concentrate on the one hobby that inspired me to start Servusamanu in the first place: writing.
I remain a very much unpublished writer. I would like to change that someday. In the mean time I’m practicing my writing, finding tools to help me improve, and keeping track of everything that’ll help me get published. If I can help anyone else out and maybe entertain a few people with my writing notes, I’ll consider this site a success.

Postscript: Currently I want to update 4 times a week. I don’t intend to have a set schedule for now though.
Post Postscript: For the technically minded out there, the new Servusamanu uses WordPress and a heavily tweaked version of the Defusion theme. I use the srg-clean-archives, Postlist, and Google analytics modules.
