I had rather hoped to write out some piece of new fiction for my post today. The idea was I going to use servusamanu to throw up some of the shorter, less edited, less optimistic pieces that I’ve written and going forward use servusamanu to dabble with the ideas that I had no intention of following through on. Good enough plan but turns out there was something of a flaw. I started writing one of my slush pieces…and it turns out I rather like it. That much means I can’t put it here if I ever want to publish it. Conundrum!
For now, I’m keeping this particular piece of fiction close to the chest. Maybe next week I’ll have something more interesting?
